Up until 2000, Loop Telecom was one of the largest broadband connectivity suppliers in Spain. However, during that year, Covad Communications acquired a majority stake and as a result, expanded Loop Telecom across a number of international markets. This international expansion was further fuelled by the acquisition of BlueStar Communications.

Loop Telecom used the IT Operations service initially to resolve a variety of difficult operational issues. However, once these had been resolved, assistance was given to rectify the process flaws that caused them. The IT Project Management service was used to provide the recommendations and provide support throughout the implementation of them.
